After our 30-minute swim with the whale sharks, we headed over to Tumalog Falls which is just about 5 kilometers away and is commonly the next destination after you're done with the whale shark adventure.

Boracay ft. Mercado Family
As of August 2013, I have been to Boracay for the second time. But this time with the whole Mercado Family (my Mom's side). It was my cousin's wedding plus sort of a family reunion since we haven't seen some of our relatives who have lived in the States for more than 10 years already.
I don't want to drag you with paragraphs so I'll let the pictures do the talking. I didn't take a lot of pictures at the wedding though, so better prepare yourselves with beach photos instead! Lol

Summer Getaway: Queen City of the South
April 03 to 06 of 2013, my brother together with his girlfriend and I went on a summer getaway to the Queen City of the South -- Cebu! Just the three of us (no grown ups to guide us, just our wandering selves) as a reward for their graduation in College and of course me for finishing my third year.

Weekend (VIPS) Getaway: Pulang Pasayan
24th and 25th of February, my friends and I decided to go on a trip to the beach! Since we were all stressed out and drained from the previous hell week, we decided to unwind! >:)
Pulang Pasayan, found in Guimaras Island, owned by our friend's family was the perfect trip at that time! So we immediately went for it. We stayed there overnight and slept outside beneath the stars (well actually beneath a tree hahaha but you get my point)! It was so cold because of the sea breeze but it was quite an experience! Just like survival 101. And we did not starve for the adults brought and cooked a lot! :D We also got to see the Pulang pasayan (red shrimps) and it was cool because you only see a red/orange shrimp when its cooked. These ones were alive!
We had a good bonding time with my friends (though incomplete, but still) talked about anything the whole night til 2:30 am and had a "few" drinks ;) So cheers to another adventure! More to come hopefully :>
Thanks to Ma. Bianca Ycoy and her family for the awesome accommodation!
Weekend Getaway: City of Smiles
*introducing a superrrrrr late post!!!*
9th of February, my friend Bianca and I's itchy feet brought us to the City of Smiles -- Bacolod City! Tagging along with us was Ralph who served as our guide and bodyguard (haha >:P). Planning just the day before, we didn't expect it would turn out to be an epic adventure (or should I say an amazing race). Our plan was just to spend the Saturday there and go home late afternoon. But suddenly, my Mom called me up to do something for her. It required time so we HAD TO stay overnight to get it done. With eyes wide open, we were up to the challenge! The challenge to do a very hard task for my Mom (which required a whole lot of traveling and searching), to find a place to stay in, and to figure out how we could survive with no other stuff for an overnight stay! Soooooo, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! >:)
First thing, we started out with the task by renting a tricycle for convenience since we had to jump from one place to another. It was quite hard with the searching part, so we gave up quickly since we still did not have a place to stay for the night and it was getting late anyway. We walked around in hopes of an available room with cheap rates, and luckily we found a pension house that's good enough to stay in and cheap too! After settling in, we went grocery shopping for necessities plus extra clothes.
It was also a good timing since the city celebrated their Bacolaodiat 2013 (a city celebration for Chinese New Year) and it was a whooole lot of fun! We walked the streets of Lacson under the rain! And ate in the streets. Wish we could have more trips like that! >:)
